Fintech Alliance Nepal (FAN) regularly hosts Quarterly Webinars focused on critical and emerging areas of fintech, financial technology, digital finance, regulation, innovation, and the broader financial ecosystem.

Held four times a year, these sessions bring together distinguished national and international resource persons, industry leaders, policymakers, and experts to share knowledge, insights, and global perspectives. FAN’s Global Advisors coordinate and facilitate these sessions, connecting Nepal’s fintech ecosystem with international expertise.

The Quarterly Webinar Series is part of FAN’s regular knowledge-sharing initiatives, alongside Fintech Friday and Fintech Social, designed to encourage meaningful dialogue, learning, and collaboration within the fintech community.

Fintech Alliance Nepal (FAN), a non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening Nepal’s fintech ecosystem, announced its new Executive Board Committee during the Annual General Meeting held at Square Hotel, Lalitpur.

The newly appointed President, Mr. Amit Agrawal, highlighted FAN’s commitment to fostering collaboration, innovation, and a sustainable fintech ecosystem in Nepal.

Established three years ago, FAN now represents 30+ corporate members and continues to grow steadily. FAN Signs MoU with MDEA

This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is entered into by and between Fintech Alliance Nepal (hereinafter referred to as “FAN”) and Myanmar Digital Economy Association (hereinafter referred to as “MDEA”), collectively referred to as “the Parties.”

Purpose:  The purpose of this MOU is to facilitate and foster FinTech collaboration between Nepal and Myanmar.

This agreement aims to increase support and opportunities for the FinTech industries in both countries, with the Parties joining forces on matters of mutual interest relating to the FinTech industry. The agreement allows for the sharing of best practices and the fostering of business collaboration.

“Nepal-Myanmar Trade Relations: Promoting Software Business” – organized by Embassy of Nepal, Yangon on 31 May 2024.

The major objective of the event was information dissemination among representatives of business circle, IT companies, banks, microfinance and financial institutions of Myanmar. The event also aimed to explore prospects for expansion of Nepali IT products and services and establish links between relevant sectors of two countries. 13 Nepali companies- BitsKraft Pvt. Ltd., City Express Group of Companies (CityTech), Digital Age Nepal Pvt. Ltd., Inficare P Ltd, Info Developers Pvt. Ltd, imark Private Limited, IMS Software Private Limited, Khalti Pvt Ltd. Products, One-point Financial Services, Silk Innovation, Synergy Tech Software Pvt. Ltd, Techmind Solution and mbank Technologies showcased their products in the exhibition booths. The event being first of its kind was highly appreciated and praised by the participants.
